|The best I've done in this contest for many years. Only heard one EU. Thanks for the QSOs and 73! Ron (W8RU).
|Thanks to all that heard the signal from the wire on the roof.
|Lot's of possible 2 stations on same frequency will make log checking important.
|Operated remote from Tokyo, Japan
|Oh, I didn't bank any sleep hours. But I made a few extra Qs in the last hour of the contest, and before that I made it few Qs in the Winter FD
|I had fun. As always, thanks for the good contest opportunity to get several 160 meter contacts.
|For the first time ever, not one EU contact!
|This was another partially-remote operation with N6RO at the station, while WD6T and K6AW connected remotely. Top Band is always an adventure, but we had some tough conditions this year, particularly to the east, with many weak signals. New England was in
|It was my radios 42nd Birthday on Saturday (no joke) and while it's impossible to compete with modern radios, she gave me all she had. First night pretty good conditions from Midwest US into the UK approaching their sunrise, but second night conditions we

|1 night op only... equipment problems....

|I've heard better conditions to EU. Never heard West Coast. Noise and blizzard didn't help things.
|NICE CONTEST GL 73
|Hermes-Lite TRX T-Vertical 24m, 3.5m AGL with 8 elevated radials. Poor band conditions this year. Due to technical problems, only the first night was able to work fully. Thanks to all for QSO's and patience to resolve small signal.
|TS2000 + Inv V
|This year various technical problems appeared suddenly from nowhere. Amplifier died just before the contest, so used spare PA. Interface died the same time too. Had no spares, fixed it. Made so many QSOs, as could. Band was overcrowded as always
