| KC9UJS | SINGLE-OP LOW | end fed wire with 9:1 balun in an inverted l type configuration. Very few ground radials, and that is it. All fed with 75 ohm coax! but it works |
| KD3HN | SINGLE-OP LOW | SOLP horizontal full-wave 160m loop at about 45' (average) fed by 450-ohm twinlead, 160m EFHW with highest point at about 60', and Hi-Z 3-element receiving array. |
| KD8TNF | SINGLE-OP HIGH | 73 |
| KD9KEQ | SINGLE-OP LOW | Homebrew 80/75-meter Inverted V @ 45ft. |
| KD9YOO | ASSISTED LOW | Antenna is a diy center loaded inverted l with a 1:1 up at about 35ft above ground. Total length of wire is 127ft, but with the coil in middle the antenna is only about 65ft long. I got this antenna from my elmer, kb9rds. Thanks steve!! |
| KE0ITC | SINGLE-OP LOW | Single 250 foot long wire antenna up 20 to 25 feet in the trees. Using 4 to 1 balun, one wire in the trees the other laying on the ground. Suprised I was able to make 50 contacts with my Icom 7300. |
| KE2AY | SINGLE-OP HIGH | 2026 CQ World Wide 160-Meter Contest Raw Scores from the Contest ScoreBoard as of Sunday 13:33Z the way of multipliers, and or DXCC/WAE, my QSO count was ok but need more Multipliers for a better outcome, REGUARDLESS -- Thank you to all the Amateurs I worked and worked me, and see you all next week for the "ARRL International DX SSB Contest" 73s from N.Y. | KF0GUS | SINGLE-OP LOW | 160M loop 20 ft off ground |
| KF9CP | SINGLE-OP LOW | Long wire on top of fence around yard |
| KG4WOJ | SINGLE-OP LOW | EMCOM II at 17 feet above ground horizontal. |
| KG7VQ | SINGLE-OP LOW | Elecraft K3 feeding a 178ft Double-Extended-Zepp at 34ft in a inverted V configuration |
| KH6J | MULTI-OP | Operated @KH6YY. We tested several RX antennas (DHDL, VE3DO Loop, short Beverage). |
| KI1P | ASSISTED LOW | As usual I operated out of my van on the side of the road. Conditions were difficult with low power. |
| KI4KWR | MULTI-OP | Location: Hazel Green, AL Radios: Elecraft K3 Logging Software: N1MM TX Antenna: Cushcraft MA-160V Vertical This was the first contest for the new location in Alabama and even being still a project in motion we had an amazing weekend having fun. Conditions alway for this weekend can make or break it here. Got the to the Station luckily with everything Saturday during the day we did some 160m antenna work and the vertical is now on 1900khz and still have not layed any radials on the radial plate. Knew we could use the amplifier there but choose from the start to simply run 100 watts and we did. 73, Steve KI4KWR |
| KJ4LEN | SINGLE-OP LOW | Used a 160m Inv L with two radials. Propagation was very poor to my QTH. Bad QSB also. |
| KJ5IEL | SINGLE-OP LOW | DX Engineering Multiband Vertical Antenna, 10M - 160M, 43' tall. |
| KJ6XC | ASSISTED LOW | inverted L, very limited time on air |
| KK2B | SINGLE-OP LOW | 160 meter End Fed Half Wave antenna in an inverted Vee configuration about 40 ft at its apex. |
| KK4R | SINGLE-OP LOW | Sadly, due to winter storms, my inverted-L had become an inverted-U, and my tuner couldn't handle it. It took two contacts with the tuner and rig complaining loudly for me to figure out that I wasn't going to operate in this contest. The end of m |
| KN2D | SINGLE-OP LOW | I strung up a dipole for the contest but wasn't able to make more than one contact. It was great to hear so many stations on 160 though! |
| KO4RUL | SINGLE-OP LOW | Yaesu FT-891 100w pep Yaesu FC-50 Tuner MFJ 2990 43 ft Vertical antenna, ground mounted |
| KP4AA | SINGLE-OP HIGH | 4 hours part time. |
| KR4OW | SINGLE-OP LOW | Inverted L at 40 feet with 60 100ft radials |
| KS7T | SINGLE-OP LOW | I've entered many CQ160SSB contests over the decades and condx for this one have always been worse than CW usually its due to hearing more than I can work but this year my ratio was good, 10 for 11 and the worst cndx ever due to the never ending solar storms. I heard one stn in CA, the one who couldn't hear me! Antenna is a ground fed random length wire running up to my beam mast at 43' high tuned by the Kenwood 590SG ant. tuner miraculously flat on all bands 160-10! |
| KT3X | SINGLE-OP LOW | Rig: TS-590SG Antenna: Random wire antenna, inverted L configuration. Vertical section ~48' |
| KV4ZY | SINGLE-OP LOW | Off Center Dipole, 180'-90' Casual operating just for fun ) |
| KX9RT | SINGLE-OP LOW | K3 running 100W into inverted L 50ft up a 80ft horizontal. |
| LC1P | ASSISTED LOW | Home made dipole antenna 30 feet above ground. |
| LC5A | SINGLE-OP LOW | LW 30m, 10m above the ground |
| LC9X | SINGLE-OP LOW | Thanks for all the contacts. Great fun. |
| LX5M | ASSISTED LOW | i use a invL antenna , 14 meters vertical and the rest horizontal , |
| LY4R | MULTI-OP | NO |
| M0MCV | SINGLE-OP HIGH | Poor 160m antenna which only tuned part of the band and other weekend commitments, so only a small entry. |
| M0MPM | SINGLE-OP LOW | antenna is an end-fed inverted-eL, 8m vertical, about 16m horizontal |
| M0XXJ | SINGLE-OP LOW | Inverted L, 9 feet above ground |
| M2X | SINGLE-OP LOW | Simple set-up: IC-7300 and a 160M doublet at 50 feet. |
| MM9I | ASSISTED HIGH | part time entry but fun |
| N0DL | SINGLE-OP LOW | Inverted-L with max height at 45 feet. |
| N0JK | SINGLE-OP LOW | Got on to hand out a few contacts. SSB is more difficult with my rain gutter antenna than CW. Ended up with a dozen contacts vs. over a 100 on CW. Activity seemed less than prior years. Only a few strong contest stations received, and they seemed to call many unanswered CQs. KUDOs to N2CEI FL and K3ZM VA for my best DX from Kansas. N2CEI had a strong, consistent signal and heard well. Copied XE1RCS and ZF2VE well, but no luck with them. AB6GS was a surprise from Wyoming. |
| N0LMQ | SINGLE-OP LOW | 18 foot top loaded vertical. See QRZ page for details. |
| N0VRP | ASSISTED HIGH | inverted L w/3 80m radials, about 40' vertical K3 KAT KPA500 |
| N1TOR | SINGLE-OP LOW | End fed wire with 9:1 unun. Wire 20 meters long and 30 feet above ground. |
| N1ZN | SINGLE-OP LOW | Dipole cut for 160m. 20 ft at highest point. |
| N7LRG | SINGLE-OP LOW | Horiz OCFD @ 25ft. |
| N8YDM | SINGLE-OP LOW | 40-Meter EFHW, 5 Meter's off the ground. |
| N8YEL | SINGLE-OP LOW | I thought band conditions this year were pretty good. I used my Icom IC-7300. My Antenna was a loaded dipole in an inverted V configuration with the apex at about 35 feet above ground. Calls from the US 7 call area were unfortunately few and far |
| N9ARX | SINGLE-OP HIGH | The linear loaded sloper may not be the best antenna, but it fits on a small lot and gets me on 160M! I was hoping to hear more stations than I did. Maybe next year. On a good note, I was able to work everyone I could hear. Looking forward to nex |
| N9NE | ASSISTED HIGH | Noise level was so high that only a few signals were strong enough for me to call them. |
| N9TF | SINGLE-OP LOW | Rough conditions for a little pistol on 160 on SSB. Lots of storm noise here Friday night, and I could not even work stations I normally can on SSB. Played in the NAQP RTTY contest Saturday night and then checked into 160 after midnight. Noise level down, but still struggled to work stations. I also heard many other stations calling others with no responses. ZF is usually a slam dunk for me from middle TN with LP and a compromise antenna. ZF2VE was 20 over S9 here Sunday morning just after midnight, and I was unable to get his attention. Neither could a host of other ops calling him. The path from my location to VE3 was the only solid path as I worked all the VE3s I heard with no problems! Very strange conditions. 73, Gene N9TF, Rig K3S 100 watts to 22' vertical to knee inverted L 110' horizontal wire traveling west from vertical radiator. |
