SP4TSINGLE-OP HIGHAnother amazing contest! Well, the propagation was quite poor, but the fun is always there when you do what you love! This year I improved the setup: - T vert 26m - 7 beverages Even if the setup is nice I couldn't get any US or JA run as I had last year. I logged 16x US, 1x JA....that says it all :) Some QSO where "gost" and i can't wait the UBN to see if the magic happened! Always amazed how someone seats just 0.001KHz from you and starts calling CQ. A funny guy also suggested me to buy a FTDX101...i was laughing, thanks Sir! CU soon, de SP4T, IT9RGY
SP5GANSINGLE-OP QRPSecond time for me to take part in 160m CW contest as SP5GAN. This time, I could take part a few hours only (holiday style). Antenna is a 20 meter end-fed wire, sloping from 7th floor of building. Rig used is homemade CW-QRP-TRX. Heavy noisy urban environment. TX-pwr: 4 Watts QRP only. IF-BW: 400Hz. My QRA: KO02MD I was happy to see how patiently so many ops picked up my weak signal! Thanks to all who did so and encouraged me to be qrv on 160 meters. I was able to contact 13 European countries, 58 QSQs in total. Learn more about me at www.qrz.com. (look for SP5GAN and/or DL2GAN) Hope to hear you again in 2027! Dood DX & Happy brasspounding! Wx: Misty and foggy, light snowfall, nighttime temperature around -5°C.
